Gregor Wedell LL.M.
Gregor Wedell, born in Freiburg/Breisgau, studied law and legal English at the universities of Tübingen, Bielefeld and Cologne. As an intern, Gregor Wedell completed the postgraduate “European and International Commercial Law” program at the University of Bielefeld. He earned a Master of Laws Degree in M&A at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
He began his legal career in the Brussels office of the law firm Brandt-Partnerschaft. Gregor Wedell then established the Dresden office of Schalast & Partner together with the office partners. He relocated to Frankfurt am Main in 2003and today advises companies and their decision-makers and shareholders on corporate law issues, in connection with the sale of companies, and the reorganization and restructuring of corporate groups, with advising clients on post-merger integration becoming one of his key practice areas. Gregor Wedell also advises and represents advertising agencies and film and television production companies with respect to trademark, media and copyright law issues. He has also developed special expertise in the organization and monitoring of distribution systems for professional associations and companies.
He acts as counsel to the Central German Film and Television Producers Association and the Association of Harley Davidson Dealers, and is also sits on the supervisory boards of several SMEs.
