Schalast advises WinValue on the sale to GSG Genii Software Group

Schalast advised the shareholders of WinValue, a provider of software and platform solutions for automotive experts and insurers, on the sale to GSG Genii Software Group (“GENII”). The acquisition strengthens GENII's position in the automotive aftermarket, where the group already owns Werbas KSR, an automotive workshop management company. GENII is backed by the financial investor Bregal.

WinValue is a specialist in vehicle damage and claims management and offers powerful cloud-based solutions and platforms to simplify and accelerate customers' diverse and specialized business processes. The solutions enable motor insurers and appraisers to determine the residual value of damaged vehicles via an auction platform, as well as an ERP/CRM solution for appraisers to manage claims and create damage assessments. The modular applications use the cloud throughout and are supplemented by specific mobile applications.
