Daniel Lüdemann, LL.M., has been advising German and international companies since 2005, both as a lawyer and on the corporate side, primarily in the areas of collective and individual labor law and corporate law.
After completing his studies, Mr. Lüdemann began his professional career at the law firm Hartnigk, Stelzer, Erwin (former mayor of the city of Düsseldorf). There, he advised medium-sized companies on issues of general commercial law. From 2005 to 2007, Mr. Lüdemann was also a research assistant at Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf.
After two years, Mr. Lüdemann moved to a media holding company where, as in-house counsel and assistant to the executive board, he was responsible in particular for the legal affairs of both the holding company itself and its subsidiaries. In 2009, Mr. Lüdemann also obtained a Master of Laws degree in media, copyright, and trademark law. From 2009 to 2011, Mr. Lüdemann was managing director of an investment company.
From June 2011 to April 2025, Daniel Lüdemann was a partner at the law firm TIGGES Rechtsanwälte, where he headed the employment law department before joining SCHALAST on May 1, 2025.
In the field of collective labor law, Mr. Lüdemann's areas of expertise include advising employers in the context of conciliation committees, resolution procedures, and negotiations with works councils and trade unions. In individual labor law, he advises employers on day-to-day labor law matters and senior executives, managing directors, and other board members on the drafting of (international) employment contracts, mutually agreed contract terminations, secondments, outplacements, and transfers of undertakings.
Mr. Lüdemann also advises at the interface between labor and corporate law, including in connection with restructuring and M&A projects. In addition, he assists shareholders with the strategic preparation and implementation of shareholders' meetings and in disputes at the shareholder level.
