Dr. Georg Hüllen studied law and, until his intermediate exams, also business administration at Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg. After completing his legal clerkship and earning his doctorate, he was admitted to the bar in 1997. For many years, he has practiced exclusively in the areas of commercial law, insolvency and restructuring law, and insolvency labor law.
Drawing on his many years of advisory experience, he takes a business-oriented approach to consulting, with the goal of developing sustainable and practical solutions for companies, shareholders, and creditors.
The focus of his practice lies in supporting restructuring and reorganization processes and self-administration proceedings, as well as advising managing directors, board members, and shareholders on liability and corporate law issues, including matters of insolvency labor law. In addition, he has many years of experience in the judicial and extrajudicial enforcement of commercial law claims. His client portfolio includes restructuring and reorganization proceedings in the healthcare, long-term care, industrial, retail, and automotive sectors. His advisory services cover both out-of-court reorganization processes and court-supervised restructuring and insolvency proceedings.
