Simon Waldbröl is a partner in the Banking & Finance practice group. He advises clients in the areas of banking, financing and financial regulatory law setting a focus on future banking matters.
Simon Waldbröl advises banks, payment service providers and financial service providers as well as FinTechs on the structuring of innovative business models. He also assists in all matters of banking, banking supervisory and financing law and accompanies financing transactions.
Since March 2023, Simon Waldbröl is Vice-Chair of the Multilaw Next-Gen Lawyers Group for the EMEA region. Since August 2023, he attends a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at Boston University.
Before joining Schalast in September 2020, Simon Waldbröl worked for three years in the financial services practice (banking, insurance and investment law) for an international law firm. He advised clients in particular on financing, regulatory and corporate law issues.
Simon Waldbröl is admitted to the bar as an attorney since 2017. He completed his legal clerkship in Frankfurt am Main and Hamburg. He studied law at the Universities of Passau and Heidelberg.
