Simon Waldbröl advises banks, payment service providers and financial service providers as well as FinTechs on the structuring of innovative business models. He also assists in all matters of banking, banking supervisory and financing law and accompanies financing transactions.
Since October 2025, Simon Waldbröl is Global Chair of the Multilaw Banking & Finance Practice Group. From March 2023 to September 2025, he was Vice-Chair of the Multilaw Next-Gen Lawyers Group for the EMEA region.
Before joining Schalast in September 2020, Simon Waldbröl worked for three years in the financial services practice (banking, insurance and investment law) for an international law firm. He advised clients in particular on financing, regulatory and corporate law issues.
In August 2025, Simon Waldbröl earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Boston University. He is admitted to the bar as an attorney since 2017. He completed his legal clerkship in Frankfurt am Main and Hamburg. He studied law at the Universities of Passau and Heidelberg.
