Dr. Marc-André Rousseau

Dr. Marc-André Rousseau is an internationally experienced lawyer in the field of venture capital/start-ups and international business law, especially in the aviation industry. His clients benefit from his extensive experience from the different sides of legal advice: Through his many years of working in large international law firms, he not only knows the perspective of an internationally experienced lawyer, but also that of the inhouse side. As senior legal counsel, he practised the inhouse perspective over a period of seven years and can thus adapt his advisory approach to the needs of internationally operating companies based on his own experience.

Dr. Rousseau worked in the international law firms SJ Berwin LLP in Frankfurt am Main and Beiten Burkhardt in Berlin as well as in the legal department of Rolls-Royce Deutschland Ltd & Co KG in the business aviation industry. In this capacity, he gained extensive experience in venture capital and start-up consultancy and, due to his wide-ranging experience in cross-border contract drafting, he has, i.a., qualified as a certified specialist lawyer for international business law.

Dr. Rousseau sees himself not only as a pure legal advisor but as a "business enabler". He is convinced that quick and clear communication as well as identification with the client is an essential part of a successful transaction.
