Schalast Lawyers recognized in the Best Lawyers/Handelsblatt 'Germany's Best Lawyers’ Ranking 2023

This year, even more Schalast lawyers were honored by The Best Lawyers. In Germany, the renowned ranking is published by Handelsblatt. We are especially delighted that Dr. Kerstin Gründig-Schnelle was named Lawyer of the Year for the legal field Intellectual Property Law.

Moreover, the 15th edition of "The Best Lawyers in Germany" includes the following Schalast lawyers: Markus Ruhmann, who has been a partner and head of the Real Estate practice group at Schalast since April 2023, was honored for his work in real estate law, together with Prof. Dr. Christoph Schalast and Dr. Hans Hofmann who was also named for leasing law. We are proud that the ranking reflects the growing importance of Schalast's Real Estate practice.

Furthermore, Dr. Matthias Geurts, Partner in the practice groups Banking & Finance and Tax, was ranked for his work in the areas of banking and finance law, investment law and tax law. The head of the practice group Labor Law, Clemens Schalast, was featured for his work in this area. In addition, Dr. Udo Kornmeier and Prof. Dr. Thomas Sambuc were honored in the areas of intellectual property law and media law. Finally, Jan Schneider was featured in the Best Lawyers in Germany IT Law Ranking,
